About Tuckii
By Dane · Founder & maker of Tuckii
Hi, I'm Dane. I built Tuckii after trying dozens of bookmark and read-later apps — and hitting the same wall in every single one. This is the short version of why it exists and what I believe it should be.
1Why I built Tuckii
I'm the kind of person who saves everything: recipes, tools, articles, TikToks, places to visit. For years I bounced between Pocket, Raindrop, Instapaper, the browser's own bookmarks, and a dozen others. Every one of them broke me at the same thing — the moment I had a lot of saved links, they became impossible to actually manage. No real bulk editing, clumsy organizing, and half of them locked my links inside an account I didn't want to depend on.
When Mozilla shut Pocket down in 2025, a lot of people suddenly needed somewhere to go — and I realized the app I wanted didn't exist. So I made it.
2What Tuckii is
Tuckii is a private, local-first bookmark manager. You save a link from any app with the Share button, organize it into collections, and find anything again in seconds with instant search. Your links live on your device — no account required.
It's free for everyday saving, and there's an optional Pro upgrade for people who want more — tags, full-collection sharing, and backup. I try to be honest about that: the free tier is genuinely usable every day, and Pro is there if you outgrow it, not a paywall in front of the basics.
3What I believe
- Your links are yours. Local-first, no account, nothing to lose if an app changes.
- Managing many links should feel effortless. Bulk actions, hold-to-select, tags, and a fast, fluid interface — the things every other app made me fight with.
- Honest by default. No fake reviews, no dark patterns, no pretending the free tier does everything. Just a tool I actually use myself.
4Who's behind it
Tuckii is built by me, Dane — a solo indie maker. If you have feedback, a rough edge, or a workflow you want it to handle better, I read every message at support@tuckii.app.
